Last few days I was thinking David beckham was the highest paid male athletes and Serena William for female athletes but everything changes when I came down to these link. It’s interesting that most of the female toppers are from tennis and for male mostly football. Tiger wood the topper got huge amount of money as if he got many sponsorship, see the difference between him and David beckham. The reason man are paid more is beacuse male sports usually make more revenue than female sports.
I would take even the lowets females pay anytime with no complaints at all!

definitely alot of money. i would be quite satisfied if i got all of that just to play my favorite sport. make insane money doing what you like to do… i doubt it gets much better than that.

I really is incredible that Tiger Woods makes well over twice the next highest salary. Then again he has a very popular video game that comes out yearly and a ton of other endorsements.

You know I can understand Tiger making that much, after all if he doesn’t win those PGA games tourneys he doesn’t get nearly as much but most of these others they are all contract based. Once the contract is signed a lot of these so called pros can stop performing to their best abilities. I think all athlete pay should be based upon their present performance and not their past.

Yeah me too! Wouldn’t that be cool? I would love to make that kind of money. There so many things that I could do with it and there are so many people I could help with it. I know a lot of them do donate money and time to charities, but I wonder how much it is percentage wise to their incomes.
I strongly believe that if a person has the means to help others that it is their duty and responsibility to do so.
I’m not going to bash them for making huge amounts of money (someday I’d like to do that) — I just hope that they give as much as they possibly can to the rest of us just trying to put food on the table.

As disappointing as it is to see such a discrepency between female and male athletes, I think it’s more worthwhile to worry about the athletes at the bottom of the list.

Sure would be nice to have a house like them with 20 rooms, 3 pools, a tennis court, and at least 5 cars. Oh well, not everyone can live a life like that!
